NEXT GENERATION 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1)

Texas 9-1-1 Entities are implementing NG9-1-1 as a generational technological change and to address issues inherent in today’s 9-1-1 technology. NG9-1-1 planning, transition and implementation is an extensive, multi-year effort and CSEC has been collaborating with regional and local governments to implement NG9-1-1 State-level Emergency Services Internet Protocol Network (ESInet) within the CSEC 9-1-1 Program by August 31, 2023.

This dashboard provides a high-level status of the implementation of NG9-1-1 projects by RPC. Each RPC represents a participant in CSEC’s 9-1-1 Program. Progress for each RPC is tracked according to four stages as described in Stages and Stage Milestones.

This dashboard provides a high-level status of the implementation of NG9-1-1 projects by RPC. Each RPC represents a participant in CSEC’s 9-1-1 Program and includes an overview, key program metrics, and individual participant Program Dashboard in geospatial view.

To view the status at the CSEC-level, go to the Program Dashboard page. The highlights of this dashboard includes:

  • Solid line borders represent area (RPC, ECD, MECD) boundaries with gray areas representing ECDs and MECDs.
  • Status by area is viewed by selecting an area which will show the status and stage the area is in (e.g., Not Started, Stage 1 through 4, Complete).
